Steps in making rolls is a great way to discover the wonders of creating good homemade bread for your loved ones:)  Bread is challenging to make especially soft ones. There are several ways in mixing bread doughs: Straight Dough Mixing, Sponge-and-dough Mixing, No time dough. Yes recipes are standardized or accurately under bakers percentage for good ratio. All mixing doughs are done differently but dough is basically kneaded to develop gluten or elasticity. Tediously watch the video to help you whenever you are assigned to do a bread recipe. The simple steps in the video and photoline are the basic steps in making breads. 
Today's recipe -Coconut Rolls are most common in asia especially in the Philippines since coconut is staple in the country. This is best consumed as snack or breakfast with tea or coffee. Enjoy and start practicing.

The film is focused on the mixing,kneading,resting,degasing,scaling or portioning dough, rounding, filling and final- shaping, final resting. Eggwashing before baking was not filmed. You will need:
Yield:Makes about 20-22 pieces rolls
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/8 cup powdered milk
2 1/4 t yeast,instant
2 T white sugar
1 t salt
1 egg
1 cup milk,lukewarm
1/4 cup butter,soft room temperature ( but not cool)
Coconut Filling:
1 cup dessicated coconut
1/2 cup butter,soft
1 t vanilla
1/2 light brown sugar
pinch salt
eggwash:
1 egg
pinch salt
2 T cream

 Bulk fermentation /First resting until it doubles in size ( see uncovered dough below)


 Inverting the bowl 
 Degasing or ("gently "punching motion) the dough to prepare for  next stage of expansion


 Scaling or portioning dough

 Pre-shaping the dough and rest for 5 minutes, for filling
 Flatten the pre-shaped doughs 
 Filling
Rolling again to seal in filling, seam-side-down. Eggwashing and baking was not filmed. Bake until light golden brown. It will double in size and serve hot!
